Mr Marek Hulák, operating domestic and international export and import transport of DAF Trucks throughout Europe. And since he is one of our loyal customers and his ever-growing fleet and expanding company can be inspiring to many, we asked him a few questions.
Can you briefly introduce your company MH-Transport?
The history of our company dates back to 2017, when the company was founded under the name MH – TRANSPORT. Two years later, in 2019, the legal form of the company changed from a natural person to a legal entity and the company MH 
– TRANSPORT CZ s. r. o. was established. Initially, our fleet was very limited to a single new set of DAF tractor units and a Kögel tarpaulin trailer. The very next year, we purchased another new DAF kit under difficult and financially demanding conditions that were incomparable with the current ones. The fleet of vehicles began to grow, as well as the number of our employees. Every year, a new vehicle was added to our fleet, along with a new driver. We are based in Bystřice nad Pernštejnem.
Speaking of your fleet, it's impossible not to notice that you give personal names to cars, it's not "just" a blue DAF lowdeck XG +480, but maybe Albert or Stanley. Is there a reason for this?
Yes, from the beginning, starting a company and dealing with all the circumstances was very much a family affair. This included the choice of the color of the first tractor. That's when we received a color sampler and together we chose what color the first truck would have. We longed for something cheerful, and the bright green enchanted us. At that time, we compared this color to the Esmeralda series. In fact, it was the first name that caught on very quickly. Gradually, each truck got its name. Everyone in the company now knows immediately which truck we are talking about, and they know the names of the trucks even in the service stations.
You mentioned during our conversation that one of your DAF Trucks has a mileage of more than a million kilometers. What do you think is the secret to the longevity of your cars and fleet?
In any case, our cars stand behind our success, and as a family business, we take care of them like family members, says Mr. Hulák with a smile. Regularly, my son and I provide them with all the care and love, in the form of changing wheels, refueling or washing. This, of course, includes the regular application of Atomium products, which we have been using practically since the very beginning of our company's existence.
Therefore, treatment with tribotechnical additives to Atomium oil probably pays off for you...
Atomium products are more than just a product for us – they are proof of our confidence in their quality and effectiveness. We use them regularly after 100,000 kilometers and they have significantly extended the life of our vehicles. They are simply the key to making our cars run much longer and more reliably.
