Tribotechnical compound is an engine oil additive aimed to restore engine operating characteristics: compression, power, acceleration, level of fuel consumption, and also to prolong engine lifetime. It also able to minimise risk of breakdowns in emergency oil loss. Compound is designed for treatment of petrol engines (or gasoline ones which is exactly the same) of passenger cars with a mileage more than of 50,000 kilometres. The additive is based on technology which allows to use it for engines of any type and design, including turbocharged and non-turbocharged ones. May be successfully used for gas engines (equally for CNG, LNG and LPG types of fuel) as well as for bi-fuel engines.

Atomium Active Plus interacts only with metallic surfaces in friction areas. It is chemically neutral, doesn’t affect motor oil properties neither intentionally nor accidentally.

Application

Full petrol engine treatment will require three stages. At each stage one can of Atomium compound should be poured in the oil filler neck. It does not require any special knowledge or tools. This can be easily done by any car owner himself. However, it is important to pay attention to the manual which is in each compound box, so that it works as effectively as possible.

1st stage: Add Additive Atomium Active Gasoline Plus to the engine oil 500-1000 km before oil replacement. Do it as follows:

  1. Warm up the engine to operating temperature (normal operation).
  2. Turn off the engine.
  3. Thoroughly shake the can of Atomium compound to stir the sediments on the bottom throughout the entire volume of the liquid. It may take time and some efforts.
  4. Pour the compound into the oil filler neck of the engine. (If the volume of the oil system is more than 7 litres, it is necessary to pour in two cans of the compound).
  5. Immediately after adding the compound make a drive for 20-25 minutes in regular mode.

Note: in case if there are more than 1000 kilometers till regular oil change it is reasonable to make regular oil checks every 500-700 kilometers. In case of a significant oil contamination (identify by the color of the oil on the dipstick or oil spots on filter paper) start the second stage of treatment immediately. 

2nd stage: Change oil. Replace oil and oil filter. Add Atomium Active Gasoline Plus to the new engine oil. Use car in a regular mode till the next scheduled oil replacement. No additional oil checks required,

3rd stage: Change oil. Replace oil and oil filter. Add Atomium Active Gasoline Plus to the new engine oil.

Complete treatment of the engine is performed according to the following scheme:

Oil volume in the oil pan:
Stage From 2 to 5 ltrs From 5 to 9 ltrs
1 stage: *In engine oil is added:
1 can 2 cans
  About 1000 km of mileage till the oil replacement.
Changing the oil and oil filter
2 stage: 1 can 2 cans
  Run the car in regular mode till the oil replacement.
3 stage Changing the oil and oil filter
1 can 2 cans

 

* It is necessary to carry out oil drop test every 500-1000 km if the mileage to the regular oil change is more than 1000 km. In case the oil became solid black It is necessary to make oil replacement ahead of schedule and go to the second stage.
